Install in 3 easy steps

Step 1.
Scan QR Code

After you have purchased your eSIM you will immediately receive an email with your eSIM details, including a QR Code and installation link. Simply scan the QR Code, or click the link to start installing your eSIM to your smart phone. FYI your eSIM details are also available by accessing you customer account

Step 2.
Install your eSIM

Once your eSIM starts installing onto your device let your phone do the work. Once your eSIM is installed name your eSIM 'FlexySim' so that you know which SIM is your eSIM, and which is your usual sim. FYI don't activate your eSIM until you arrive at your destination, your eSIM will only work in its designated destinations

Step 3.
Activate your eSIM

Once your eSIM is installed, and you arrive at your destination it is time to activate your eSIM. switch data roaming off on your primary sim, and on for your eSIM and ensure your eSIM is activated. You will now be able to enjoy your travels with reliable & fast data with no data roaming costs.

How to Set up an eSIM for Apple iPhone?

It is simple to get started with your eSIM, you should be online in minutes.

*You should install your eSIM prior to heading on your journey, and activate the eSim upon arrival

  1. Purchase the eSIM data plan on our website.
  2. Receive the eSIM QR code by email.
  3. Set up your eSIM profile as follows :
  • Connect to Wi-Fi and make sure your iPhone supports an eSIM (iPhone XS/XR or newer).
  • Go to Settings → Cellular / Mobile Data → Add eSIM.
  • Select Use QR Code and Install the QR code provided by FlexySim, or click on the installation link and select the 'Apple' icon for easy install
  • Follow the prompts to install the eSIM plan on your device.
  • Label the line (e.g FlexySim ) This is optional, however this step will make you eSIM easy to recognise.
  • In Settings → Cellular / Mobile turn the travel eSIM line ON.
  • Select the travel eSIM as your Mobile Data line.
  • Turn Data Roaming ON for the travel eSIM if required.
  • Turn Data Roaming OFF on your usual Primary SIM
  • If the connection doesn’t appear, restart your phone or toggle Airplane Mode.

These steps will activate your eSIM, and allow you to use your eSIM for data roaming, and disable data roaming on your usual 'Primary' sim card.

How to Set up an eSIM for Android / Pixel?

It is simple to get started with your eSIM, you should be online in minutes.

*You should install your eSIM prior to heading on your journey, and activate the eSIM upon arrival

1. Purchase the eSIM data plan on our website.
2. Receive the eSIM details & QR code by email.
3. Set up your eSIM profile as follows:

  • Connect to Wi-Fi and ensure your Android device supports eSIM.
  • Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs (or Mobile Network) → Add eSIM.
  • Select Download or Add eSIM and scan the QR code, or click the link provided by FlexySim.
  • Follow the prompts to install the FlexySim eSIM profile on your device.
  • Turn the FlexySim line ON in your SIM settings.
  • Set FlexySim as your Mobile Data SIM.
  • Enable Data Roaming for the FlexySim line if required.
  • If the connection doesn’t appear, restart your device or toggle Airplane Mode.

These steps will allow you to use your eSIM for data roaming, and disable data roaming on your usual 'Primary' SIM card.

Are you eSIM-ready?
Check my phone is unlocked

Most phones are ready to accept an eSIM however some mobile phones may still be locked to a network. Check to see if your phone is unlocked by dialling *#06#. If an EID number is displayed, then you are ready to go.

If your phone is locked then most networks will quickly unlock your phone for you.
